The Conservancy is growing in order to fully support its mission! Two new positions, a Communications and Marketing Associate as well as a Development Associate, will each provide a unique opportunity to be part of our growing nonprofit dedicated to the long-term protection and enhancement of one of the metro region’s largest and most unique recreational and ecological assets.

Communications and Marketing Associate

The Communications and Marketing Associate will coordinate and execute the organization’s overall marketing and communications strategy under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Community Outreach. The Marketing Associate will be responsible for the Conservancy’s varied and integrated communications to a wide-ranging audience from trail users to elected officials across the diverse region.

Development Associate

The Development Associate will be a critical member of the Conservancy’s growing team, helping with an exciting and creative development program that will ensure The Plan for the High Line Canal becomes a reality. This position will play an integral role in developing and executing individual giving strategy with the Director of Development and Executive Director to support the High Line Canal Conservancy’s growing fundraising efforts. In this new position, the Development Associate will be a passionate believer in the High Line Canal Conservancy’s mission and will bring a skill set and knowledge base to take our philanthropic practice to the next level.
