Let’s go birding!

Join us along the Canal to look for birds to record for Global Big Day, a community science initiative hosted by eBird. No birding experience is needed! Bird fans of all ages and abilities are welcome. Each walk will be led by an experienced birder who will record all of the birds we see into eBird.

The High Line Canal is a corridor of green space that many migrating birds rely on when moving through the Denver area to rest and refuel for their long journeys. During peak spring migration season more than 100,000 migrating birds fly over Denver every night!
