Tree Planting Leader Training | Centennial
Tree Planting Crew Leader Training Workshop
Interested in learning more about the best practices for planting saplings and helping us lead our June planting events? Join our Planting Leader Workshop in the afternoon/evening on May 21! We’ll teach you all of the best methods for leading a group of volunteers to plant small trees along the Canal. Volunteers who take this workshop will go on to be group leaders at one or both of the planting events in June.
Please bring your own water bottle and work or gardening gloves if you have them. We will provide water for refills, some snacks, and work gloves to anyone who does not have their own. Please wear appropriate clothing including closed-toed shoes and sun protection as you will be working outside in the sun.
All volunteers must sign our online volunteering waiver once annually. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature and children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
By registering for this program you agree to abide by the policies in our volunteer agreement.
We hope to see you there!
