CONNECT WITH NATURE WHILE CARING FOR THE CANAL

Volunteers make a huge difference on the Canal! You can help build awareness, increase engagement and enhance the Canal’s ecological health.

Become a Volunteer

Canal Stewardship

In volunteering for a Canal stewardship event with the Conservancy, you automatically become a part of the Canal Conservation Corps (CCC). This coalition helps care for the Canal through stewardship programs such as brush, trash and weed removals, tree plantings and other ecological restoration projects.

Independent Cleanups

The Independent Cleanup program gives community members the ability to learn about the importance of environmental stewardship and actively participate in enhancing the ecological health of the 71-mile High Line Canal. This independent volunteer program offers volunteers the flexibility to choose the location, time and date of their trash cleanup.

Corporate or Group Volunteering

Gather your employees, troop, club or other group together and reach out about cleanup options!
