Walk or roll alongside members of the High Line Canal Conservancy Board of Directors as they take on the full 71-mile journey along the Canal. Join us to explore a stretch near your neighborhood, discover a section you’ve never visited, or commit to becoming a true High Liner by completing all 71 miles.

Our experienced walking leaders, Debi and Leslie, are back to host the series for the third year in a row! Their welcoming, well-organized walks make it easy for both first-time and returning participants to get involved. You can reference the Canal map to decide which segments you’d like to join. Registration is required. 

This series follows the “Short and Sweet” itinerary, with each walk covering approximately 2–4 miles. Click here to browse each of the segments.  Most walks are point-to-point and will require carpooling.

Debi and Leslie will help coordinate carpools for each walk. After registering, please check your email carefully — your confirmation message will include your meeting location, carpool instructions, and day-of details.
