Beat the heat with some fun in the creek!

Join the High Line Canal Conservancy and Aurora Naturalists for crawdad exploration! We’ll go on a short hike to Sand Creek to gently catch crawdads and then return to Morrison Nature Center to learn about these Colorado crustaceans and their role in healthy creek ecosystems. We’ll learn why crawdads are in Sand Creek but not in the adjacent High Line Canal, and what the future of the Canal looks like in north Aurora.
