Registering and setting up your fundraising page is easy and quick! Here are a few tips for getting started. In addition, we’ve suggested some language to use for your story and sharing your page and goals with your family and friends.

HOW TO MAKE, ACCESS AND EDIT YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE

  • Step 1 – Visit this link to register. Click on the orange “Register” button to create your fundraising page.
  • Step 2 – Check your email for a message from the High Line Canal Conservancy titled “Your fundraising page has been created”.
  • Step 3 – Click on the blue button that says, “Visit your page”, and you will be directed to your individual Fundraiser Dashboard.
  • Step 4 – You will see the tabs Overview, Story, Donations, Emails, and Details. These pages will allow you to change your fundraising goal, send emails to friends, share your story, and update your friends and donors on your progress.

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR FUNDRAISING GOAL

  • Step 1 – Log into your Fundraiser Dashboard.
  • Step 2 – Click on the “Details” tab and scroll down to the box titled “Goal”. Here you will be able to set you fundraising goal to whatever amount you choose.

HOW TO EDIT YOUR STORY

  • Step 1 – Log into your Fundraiser Dashboard.
  • Step 2 – Click on the “Overview” or “Story” tab. You will be prompted to compose a story. This is a great place to share why you are fundraising for the High Line Canal!

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PROFILE IMAGE

  • Step 1 – Log into your Fundraiser Dashboard.
  • Step 2 – Click on the “Details” tab and scroll down to the orange High Line Hero image. Here you can click “upload” to add your own image.

HOW TO DONATE TO YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING DASHBOARD

  • Step 1 – Log into your Fundraiser Dashboard.
  • Step 2 – Click on the “Overview “tab.
  • Step 3 – The first pop up will ask you to edit your story where you can either compose your story or click “Skip.” The next pop up will allow you to donate to your campaign.
  • Step 4 – Click any amount, but you will be able to edit your contribution on the next page.

HOW TO EMAIL YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY

  • Step 1 – Log into your Fundraiser Dashboard.
  • Step 2 – Click on the “Emails” tab where you will see sample emails to thank your donors or send an email asking for donations.
  • Step 3 – The samples will have an auto-populated message with a link to your individual fundraiser page. Feel free to personalize your message and click the blue “Copy Message” box to copy the text to your clipboard.
  • Step 4 – Paste your copied message into a new email in your personal email platform and send it to your desired contact.

Alternatively, you can click on the email icon on your main fundraising page to initiate a new email.

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR DONORS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS ON YOUR STATUS

  • Step 1 – Log into your Fundraiser Dashboard.
  • Step 2 – Click on the “Story” tab.
  • Step 3 – Click on the word UPDATES
  • Step 4 – Click on the blue box that says “Create New.
  • Step 5 – Personalize the update with reports of mileage that you have completed, stories of your time on the trail, or screenshots of an app where you have recorded millage.
