The City of Aurora is conducting a detailed study of the High Line Canal to better understand the current conditions of the Canal and adjacent trail. The City has contracted with Drone Operators to survey the area starting at the intersection of Havana St. and Exposition Ave. following the trail up to the NE border of Green Valley Ranch.
Starting on Thursday, March 5, through Monday, March 9, you may pass Drone Operators on the trail and/or operating drones above the trail. There will be no trail obstruction during this time and imagery will only be used to make maps and provide detailed elevation profiles of the area. The images will not be used for promotional use and will be edited to remove any trail users from the scene.
