On July 20th and 21st, the High Line Canal Conservancy hosted  it’s second “Adventure on the High Line Canal: Charting our Course for the Next Century” Open House Series. These events were held at the Expo Recreation Center in Aurora, Eloise May Library in Arapahoe County and Eisenhower Recreation Center in Denver. Over 200 people participated in these events that spanned the region allowing us to receive diverse input. We what you’re passionate to preserve, protect and enhance about the Canal–thank you to all who joined us! We look forward to presenting you with the Draft Vision Plan in September and getting further input.

Community members and stakeholders provided important input about the Canal’s northern reaches at Expo Recreation Center. We were excited to engage with staff members from the City of Aurora since the High Line Canal Trail serves as an important recreational amenity and active transportation corridor for workers at the Aurora Municipal Center.
